Database of the DACD Materials Library

The Materioteca Database is a constantly evolving digital tool that collects information and technical data relating to a part of the physical heritage present in the Materioteca. It allows users to have a complete overview of what the materials market, related to the world of construction, has to offer today.

The catalysed products are described and categorised according to several parameters

  • the material class of origin
  • the use of the product,
  • the physico-chemical properties of the product,
  • secondary parameters (shapes, finishes, etc.).
In addition to the data related directly to the product, it is possible to know the location of the sample in space, as well as the number of elements present on site, weight and dimensions.
By using the various categorisations as a search filter, it is possible to group materials according to one's needs to obtain more extensive results.

The database is open and accessible to everyone.
